Remarks: This is a superb Mesohippus skull, spcially mounted in two pieces. The upper skull mount on a rod on a wodden base, and sits on top of the separate lower jaw with complete teeth. This beautiful specimen has been expertly prepared, and has miniscule touch-up restoration. They simply come no better than this.
